Worked on a team to design and build a guitar game using an Arduino and feedback system
Responsible for design and manufacturing (laser cutting) guitar structure, assembly and integration of guitar with electronics and buttons, and troubleshooting and adapting mechanical and electrical issues
A game similar to “Guitar Hero,” allow us to introduce to you: RAT ATTACK! Rats have raided NYC and are coming for Columbia University students. In order to protect yourself, your family, and your friends, you have to use the sound of music to deter the rats from invading Columbia’s Campus. So grab your guitar, and play until all the rats are gone.
We 3D printed a guitar-shaped controller with fitted push buttons. The player presses the buttons in response to prompts on an LED-bulb screen. They score points based on the accuracy in which the buttons are pressed. There is a limited song selection that will be pre-coded into the Arduino.
